Trenchless technology making Sewer, Water and Gas line replacement, repair much easier and less costly. Schedule an appointment today and save 350$ on any Trenchless Sewer line Replacement

If you have sewer problems, there could be a number of reasons why the pipes in your sewer are not holding up. Here are three types of sewer problems that could be occurring:

1. You have a bellied pipe. This means the surrounding soil has caused your sewer pipe to sink and now waste and paper are collecting in this section of the pipe.
2. The pipes in your sewer have leaking joints, allowing the water to flow out of those areas.
3. You have a substandard pipe whose materials are not of high quality and therefore, the pipes are degrading or corroding.

Mr Rescue Plumbing and Rooter do more than just clear your drains. We can also repair or replace water and sewer lines to correct a number of problems, including:

  • Broken, cracked, offset or collapsed pipe — damaged pipes due to shifting soil, frozen ground, settling, etc.
  • Blockage — grease buildup or a foreign object is restricting or prohibiting proper flow and/or cleaning of the line.
  • Corrosion — the pipe has deteriorated and/or broken, causing collapses in the line and restricting flow.
  • Bellied pipe — a section of the pipe has sunk due to ground or soil conditions, creating a valley that collects paper and waste.
  • Leaking joints — the seals between pipes have broken, allowing water to escape into the area surrounding the pipe.
  • Root infiltration — tree or shrub roots have invaded the sewer line, preventing normal cleaning and/or have damaged the line.
  • Off-grade pipe — existing pipes are constructed of substandard material that may have deteriorated or corroded.

What is trenchless sewer repair?

Trenchless technology allows us to repair a section of sewer pipe or replace the entire sewer line without digging up the whole line. Trenchless sewer line replacement can save a homeowner’s yard, landscaping, or rockery from being disturbed. It also allows for line replacement in areas where it is not accessible to excavation equipment and would otherwise have to be dug up by hand.

Traditional Repair Method

Sewer line repairs are typically performed using the "open cut" or "trench" method to gain access to the area surrounding the damaged portion of the pipe. A backhoe may be used to open and refill the work area.

Parking lots, public drives, building entrances & loading docks all can be remain accessible during a trenchless sewer line replacement. High Density Polyethylene Pipe is inherently strong & flexible. The pipe is corrosion proof with a long service life.
The smooth inner wall provides a high, quick flow rate. Heat fused joints create a one-piece drain pipe.

Your lawn doesn't have to be destroyed. Now your broken Water line , Gas or Sewer pipe can be replaced in a fraction of the time and without disturbing your lawn... without digging up your driveway or patio... and without digging up the old pipe!

Mr Rescue Plumbig is one of very few full service plumbing companies in USA who is able to install hundreds of feet of pipe under driveways, trees, landscaping, and many other treasured landmarks, without having to dig a trench. Mr Rescue Plumbig is able to do this because of the high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe they use for their trenchless pipe replacement jobs. And because we own state-of-the-art equipment that is capable of pulling a hardened steel breaker head through old pipe.

The HDPE pipe is able to retain its circular shape even when bent on a 4-foot radius during and after installation. According to the manufacturer, the other advantages of corrosion-proof HDPE include heat fused "zero-leak rate" joints, smooth interior with high-flow factor, zero root intrusion, and earthquake and ground movement resistant. It also flexes and bends, allowing up to 45-degree turns. Call today to set up your trenchless pipe replacement!

Mr Rescue Plumbig wants you to be an informed consumer. The following information on Pipe Bursting or the Trenchless Method is meant to introduce a technique available for handling your plumbing crisis. Whether you are a homeowner with a broken pipe buried in your yard, or you a city planner facing a crisis of a different kind with broken pipes under road surfaces, you need to know that there is a cost effective alternative solution to handling this plumbing emergency. No one enjoys having his or her yard dug up, landscaping ruined, and neatly manicured lawn destroyed… Most roads whether in the city or in rural environments would also benefit from not having to be peeled back to reveal the pipes underneath. But until recently, if a clogged or broken pipe lay beneath, than this was the inevitable outcome. This would mean for consumer not only the expense of fixing the original problem; the broken pipe. But now there were additional expenses as the surface over the buried pipe had to be replaced, re-planted, resurfaced… etc. Pipe Bursting does away with this secondary “fallout” as it were. This technique called pipe bursting makes it possible to replace a piece of pipe without having to actually dig up the existing lines. Very simply stated, this is accomplished by pulling a bursting tool through the pipe needing repair. The tool or devise expands the old pipe causing it to burst, depositing the shattered fragments into the soil. A new piece of pipe is then pulled into place as the devise moves forward.

The existence of pipe bursting is revolutionizing the industry. It is the obvious choice for almost every buried broken pipe scenario. It makes so much more sense to be able to fix the problem without the unnecessary digging up of property or road surfaces. The broken pipe can be fixed in a much more timely fashion saving time and inevitably costing less money than the traditional digging- a- trench method. This trenchless system known as pipe bursting requires much less human time and effort and translates into savings for you the consumer. And, as was already alluded to, once the pipe is fixed in this fashion, the job is complete. No other contractors need to be hired to put the landscape back to what it was before. Using this pipe bursting method means it was never disturbed in the first place!

Pipe bursting can be used on a variety of pipes; concrete, cast iron, thin wall still, clay, asbestos, polyethylene (PE) and PVC. Pipe size can range from two to thirty inches. Pipe bursting tools can even reach several feet.

The benefits of pipe bursting are obvious. This trenchless system saves time, money and energy. Pipe Bursting is an alternative solution which is quickly gaining popularity. Speedy Rooter plumbing has been a pioneer in VA in this field of Pipe Bursting. The company’s founder and manager incorporated this trenchless method into his company as soon as he became aware of its existence several years ago. Now Speedy Rooter has the equipment and years of experience to handle not only this plumbing need, but every one of your plumbing needs.
Pipe Bursting, also known as the trenchless method or system is a choice you should consider and a service that Speedy Rooter Plumbing will provide. Call them today.

How does it work?

First, we dig a hole at each end of the line or section that is being replaced. Next, a cable is sent through the old line. The cable is then attached to the new pipe and pulled back through the old pipe by a powerful hydraulic piston. Another name for this process of trenchless pipe replacement is Pipe Bursting

Trenchless Sewer Pipe Repair & Replacement

Using trenchless technology we are able to achieve superior sewer replacement results without the added cost and intrusion of digging. This no hassle, cost-effective means of sewer pipeline replacement will leave both your lawn and wallet intact.

In the past sewer lines were replaced by digging new trenchless through the client's yard, sidewalk, and street. Now with trenchless no dig technology it is possible to replace the line digging only two minor holes: one in the yard and one in the street*. Since no-dig pipeline replacement requires only an entry and exit hole the rest of your lawn can remain intact. Usually pipebursting requires less digging and less time, therefore it can often mean less money out of your pocket.*

Trenchless Water & Gas Pipe Boring

Using underground boring technology we are able to install gas and water service lines without digging up your yard or driveway. This can means money and time savings for the client. The process is fairly similar to trenchless sewer replacement; we dig two minor holes at point A and point B. Then using a privately manufactured tool and high water pressure we are able to bore the tool under driveways and lawns.*

* All trenchless projects are subject to inspection and diagnosis, trenchless technology does not work on all projects and you should consult a licensed and trenchless certified plumber to find out if your project is right for trenchless.

True Eco-Friendliness Means Facing a Dirty Underground Subject

Originally publishined in California Plumbing Newsletter Winter 2008 - Heavy root intrusion and soil movement can cause small cracks in residential sewer lines. Tree roots follow a trail of vapor moisture escaping from small cracks, holes, or poorly sealed joints in your sewer line. Especially during winter or dry seasons when root growth increases; roots can travel hundreds of feet and grow to more than two feet in diameter. Once the roots penetrate these small cracks they continue to grow and exert considerable pressure at the crack or joint. Increased pressure causes the line to crack and collapse, which then requires costly replacement.

important part of keeping our beaches and rivers clean of human waste and bacteria. A damaged sewer line left unchecked can not only contaminated

sewer roots

entire property but can leech affluence and chemicals into the ground water, rivers, and oceans. According to 2004 data from the National Resource Defense Council over 21 beach closures were due to private residence sewer lateral contamination. It’s a common misconception but a majority of sewage spills are a result of private homeowners.

The key to preventing sewer line failure and costly contamination issues is early detection. Frequent clogs are a sign that your sewer line should have a Drain vision camera inspection. Early detection can mean saving a sewer line from complete replacement. Repairing a five foot section of bad pipe is typically less expensive and invasive to the property and check-book then replacing the entire line. When sewer lines are ignored, roots literally crush the line and the only option becomes replacement of the entire line.
This year do your part for the environment and help avoid a costly sewer line failure. Have your sewer line inspected by Mr. Rescue with the latest technology of pipe bursting

Pipebursting (or no-dig pipeline replacement) is the process of replacing old 2, 3, 4 or 6 inch sewer pipe with new Polyethylene pipe of the same or larger diameter. The pipe is replaced by digging two holes - an entry and exit hole.

A splitting head is attached to the new pipe and hammers the new pipe through the old pipe by splitting and expanding the old pipe. While the old pipe is being expanded the new pipe is simultaneously being pulled through the old pipe.

The new pipe will follow the same path as the old pipe. However, the new pipe will be a joint-free Polyethelyne replacement that will far outlast the pipe it is replacing. Also, because it is seamless, it doesn't allow roots to penetrate like old jointed sewer pipes do.

Up ahead the splitting head is blasting away making room for the new pipe. Because of the power of the machine used to lay the new pipe it is possible to increase the diameter of the existing pipe by several inches depending on the original diameter.
